The University of Texas at San Antonio, Alvarez College of Business | San Antonio, TX | July 2022 - April 2023

Nationally ranked, the Alvarez College of Business transforms business students into business professionals by providing students with skills that can be implemented immediately in the workplace.

  • Managed and grew donor portfolio consisting of 80-100 contacts with a minimum giving capacity of $25,000.

  • Led five-year Capital Campaign strategy comprised of planning and tracking targeted communications and donor engagement.

  • Contribute to internal and external communications and overall marketing for the College of Business.

  • Oversaw the College of Business Advisory Council and its portfolio of business organization prospects.

  • Created a stewardship strategy for the Advisory Council, producing a 90% annual gift renewal rate.

  • Secured $60,000 within the first six months, including a new scholarship endowment.

  • Oversaw development team for the Alvarez College of Business through the planning and implementation of donor related discovery, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.

Director – College Relations and Business Development

The University of Alabama, College of Continuing Studies | Tuscaloosa, AL | June 2021 - July 2022

The College of Continuing Studies empowers lifelong learners to transform communities by providing flexible and innovative educational opportunities, technical assistance, and applied research that touches lives and creates opportunities that make a difference and improve the world around us.

  • Managed team responsible for securing $100,000 in revenue, a 25% increase from the previous year.

  • Cultivated and managed client and donor relationships through engagement and communication initiatives creating a pathway to solicitation and building the pipeline.

  • Collaborated with internal stakeholders to create opportunities for clients to maximize exposure through CCS programs and educational offerings.

  • Managed a $200,000 budget.

Boss Women Media | Dallas, TX | January 2021 - May 2021

Boss Woman Media is an online/offline women's empowerment and educational community providing an engaging and encouraging environment to support women of color entrepreneurs and corporate leaders.

  • Developed and managed pipeline for new business opportunities.

  • Created partnership activations to drive the business forward to meet goals.

  • Understood client business objectives and challenges and recommended solutions based on assets.

Director – Internal Communications

Learfield IMG College | Dallas, TX | January 2019 - July 2020

Learfield IMG College unlocks the value of college sports for brands, fans and universities through the representation of collegiate institutions, conferences and arenas.

  • Oversaw internal communications process for 2500 employees, collaborating with internal teams to develop communication methods resulting a new intranet, e-newsletter, and re-structuring the cadence of overall company communication.

  • Managed communication plan for a multimillion-dollar merger as well as subsequent projects and initiatives.

  • Developed protocols and procedures related to departmental communications to employees.

  • Assisted senior leadership in all messaging needs, including C-Suite communication.

  • Oversaw evaluation process of how the communications department is perceived by employees and developed an action plan based on feedback.

  • Presented monthly marketing and communication updates to internal senior leadership.

  • Oversaw Learfield Minority Academy, including developing, implementing, and evaluating the program since 2015.
